Photography

Ever since I was young I had a strong passion for photography and cameras. I remember my first camera was a cheap yellow camera I got from school, it didn't includ film, it was a total letdown but I still liked having the camera. When I got older I would get those infamous Kodak disposable cameras, but never got the film developed in any. I finally got a Polaroid one year, it was giant and bulky but to me it was best thing ever I loved snapping pictures of things. As long as I had film I tried to take a picture of everything, including one many of my first dog, Buddy.

Polaroid cameras were limited though, you didn't get to bring out much detail in anything with these, I always longed for one of those cameras with the optical zooming lens that were always in the weekly adds.. My first great camera was a Vivitar digital camera I got for my 16th birthday, it recorded up to 60 seconds of video and had a color LCD screen I believe it was about 2.5 Mega Pixels. I did some pretty cool things with it, I loved how it could connect directly to the TV, I took tons of pictures of my nephew Fred, school and various other things. It was a great camera until I made the mistake of accidentally pointing at the sun and then it was never quite the same again.

For my 18th birthday I got a new Camera, the Vivitar held on pretty good even after the sun exposure incident but there was a painfully noticeable difference in performance to me. The new camera I got for my 18th birthday was a Kodak 4 Mega-pixel Digital Camera, optical zoom! I thought it was the coolest thing ever and I still own it to this day, it took/takes wonderful pictures the only problem I have with it is the fact that it eats up AA battery's in record timing, and didn't come with a lithium Ion rechargeable battery like most do today. But it does a great job for all it does, it takes pretty stellar videos and when done right can get some pretty awesome detailed shots too.

When I was younger I figured I would grow up and become a photographer because I loved it so much, for some reason that idea faded, but the passion never did. I still love photography and would love to have one of those high-end DSLR cameras that can bring out the tiniest of details, sometimes I see amazing shots that my cameras just couldn't do justice. But I'm going to start making the best of the Kodak again I haven't used it in about a year but I think Ill start shooting with it again.

The posts on this blog are going to be a mixed bag of things. Sometimes the photos I show will be of random things throughout my day, things I seen, places I went or whatever, sometimes they'll included poetry sometimes they'll just have a simple description of what the photo means.
